After several years without a presence in the food transport sector, PAÑALON acquired three important companies in 2023: Caviny, Felix, and Otero. We thus return to a familiar activity, in which, by contributing a high level of specialization and professionalism, with great enthusiasm and renewed desire, we are evolving, strengthening, and consolidating a solid long-term project. As of March 1, 2025, these companies have merged into Felix Food Logistic, S.L.

Food traceability
The implementation of a traceability system increases consumer confidence in the food chain, as it allows for the selective, accurate, and transparent removal of harmful products.
We ensure compliance with current European Union food safety regulations. We guarantee traceability and food safety through the application of our control systems and the technologies required to implement them:
- GPS tracking systems.
- Analogue temperature control thermometers.
- Our facilities ensure optimal cleaning and sanitation of tanks to ensure the safety of goods.
Food safety
As part of the food chain, our main objective is to ensure the food safety of the products you entrust to us, guaranteeing that they arrive at their destination in optimal hygienic conditions:
- We have implemented a Food Safety Management System, documented and certified by the IFS Logistic standard.
- We have a FOOD DEFENSE plan, establishing a security plan to minimize the risk of sabotage in our processes.
- We have an action plan in case of a food crisis and product recall.
- We have implemented a certified HACCP critical points analysis system for all our processes, designed and geared toward ensuring the safety and security of the goods we transport.
A quality system that guarantees the safety of your products
As an integral part of the food chain, we are aware of the importance of applying good hygiene and sanitary practices during operations to ensure the safety and security of the merchandise, as well as compliance with the established requirements and demands of the customers who entrust us with their food products.
Our Quality System is based on exhaustive food hygiene controls, in accordance with the principles of the Codex Alimentarius.
We hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and GMP+ quality certifications, as well as health registrations for the transport of food goods and SQAS audits.
Transport in food tankers
Our extensive fleet of tankers is dedicated exclusively to the transport of food-grade liquids. All are isothermal and made of stainless steel, complying with ATP regulations for perishable products and complying with European Union standards.
We can offer a tanker for every sector requirement: single-tank, compartmentalized, equipped with a stand-alone compressor, heater, or rotary lobe pump for discharging high-viscosity products, etc.
Tank washing and sanitizing stations
Our facilities include tanker and container washing stations, where we offer interior tanker washing and steaming services, as well as exterior tanker truck washing. Our facilities are accredited by an Authorized Control Organism, certifying that they meet the requirements for interior washing facilities:
