Pañalón participated in a technical seminar focused on the prevention of non-traumatic illnesses in the transportation sector. Ignacio Arnau, the group’s Head of Health, Safety, and Prevention, gave an interesting presentation on the best prevention practices implemented in the company, such as the healthy habits manual developed for drivers.
The event was organized by the Association of Road Transport Businesses (ATRALBA), a member of FEDA, together with the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha and the CCOO union. The main objective was to raise awareness about illnesses such as heart attacks and strokes, which are common among drivers. Authorities emphasized the urgency of implementing preventive measures, as these represent 42.5% of daily workplace deaths, and land transport has an accident rate almost five times higher than other sectors.
